Rihanna Beats Michael Jackson's Record For 'Most Number Ones'

Report says Rihanna has beaten music icon Michael Jackson in becoming the artist to chart the third-most US number one records of all time.


The 28-year-old star’s most recent single ‘Work’ has become her 14th release to top the Billboard Hot 100, beating Michael’s 13 chart-topping singles.

RiRi was understandably over-the-moon to have nabbed the prestigious number one spot, tweeting: “#WORK tops Billboard #Hot100!! Navy you killed it this week! #NavyRDie ”.

Billboard confirmed that she’d beaten MJ’s record, explaining: “The song becomes Rihanna’s 14th leader, lifting her past Michael Jackson for the third-most No. 1s all-time.”
