‘Game of Thrones’ Season 6 Premiere: What Time & Channel Is the Show On Tonight?

The season 6 premiere of Game of Thrones airs tonight, and fans are terrified about what will happen to Jon Snow, Daenerys, and other much-loved favorites. 

Rumors have been circulating about the fate of characters and the future of major plotlines, along with the return of some characters who have been gone for a long time. The premiere is going to be an hour long, but will that be enough time to give fans what they are hoping for? Knowing George R. R. Martin, fans are not going to get what they want, but something completely unexpected. So, when does Game of Thrones start, what channel is it on, and how can you watch it? TV CHANNEL: HBO – To find what channel HBO is on for you, click here to go to TV Guide’s listings. Then change the “Provider” (right under TV Listings) to your local provider. You’ll be able to scroll down to see what channel HBO is on for you.

PREMIERE SHOW TIME: 9:00 p.m. Eastern (8:00 p.m. Central) The premiere will be an hour long. Note that if you’re watching the livestream from a region that gets the western broadcast, you may actually get to see the premiere earlier than you normally could. Find out more here.

AFTER THE THRONES SPECIAL: After the Thrones will be available to HBO subscribers, whether you’re subscribed via cable or through HBO NOW. We don’t know exactly when After the Thrones will air, but it will be made available to stream after the episode is over, on Monday. It won’t air on HBO itself after the show.
