Anglophone Crisis In Cameroon - Allies Of President Paul Biya Suggest The Release Of English-Speaking Leaders

They decided to look at the crisis that Cameroon is experiencing in its English-speaking regions. This Wednesday, parliamentarians of the Rally of Democratic People of Cameroon ( RDPC , ruling party) were in conclave to lend some solutions to the crisis.

Among them, freeing the leaders of the anglophone protest whose arrest had created the stir in Cameroon. Detained in Yaounde, leaders of the English-speaking civil society consortium are awaiting trial postponed to 23 March.

In a document made case Jeune Afrique, these executives DPRK met in Bamenda hotel at the initiative of former Prime Minister Achidi Simon Achu, moreover Senate Vice President and Senator CPDM Northwest, call in President Paul Biya "to take into account the people's call for the release of those detained in connection with the crisis".

Another solution is the setting up of vigilance committees in the two regions whose mission will be to assist the administration and to ensure behavior in their communities.

But in the meantime, parliamentarians RDPC ask the people to put an end to their movements of protest and urge "the political elite of the two regions to accompany the efforts of the government in the search for solutions, investing in the actions of awareness And community education ".
