Cameroon Revelation - Here Is The Man Who Asked Biya to Relaunch The Sparrowhawk

Since the ministerial reshuffle of March 2, the Cameroonian political news is punctuated by auditions and arrests of illustrious personalities suspected of embezzlement of public funds.

According to the revelations of the pan-African newspaper Jeune Afrique, the Minister of Justice Laurent Esso, would be the main instigator of this "witch hunt" in the entourage of Paul Biya.

In its publication yesterday yesterday, the newspaper that suspects Laurent Esso to be a serious candidate for the succession of Paul Biya reveals that the minister would have gained influence since the departure of Jean Foumane Akame the legal adviser to the president.

It is therefore on his instruction that the Head of State would have relaunched the Operation Sparrowhawk that has already led to the arrest of the former Minister of Water, Basile Atangana Kouna.

To do so, he who has been present in the entourage of the head of state for 28 years has created a network of important figures including the businessman and CEO of Anecdote Amougou Belinga, General Counsel to the Supreme Court Limunga Sarah Itambi (also the wife of Amougou Belinga), the Constitutional Council member, Florence Arrey or the wealthy businessman Baba Ahmadou Danpullo.

The week, a confidential note of the intelligence services forbidding a score of personalities to leave the Cameroonian territory had leaked in the media. It is also L'Anecdote, a newspaper belonging to the businessman Amougou Belinga, who was the first to publish this list.

According to the Cameroonian media, several other figures, such as former Defense Minister Edgar Mebe Ngo'o, would appear in a new list of justice that should be published later this week.
